Hello, I’m Ali.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep passion for creating a place of safety and love for others. Over the years, I constantly found myself sitting with people, hearing their stories, and helping them to find healing. I have practiced this in variety of formal and informal capacities, and eventually found my way into the counseling field. In the midst of my own journey to healing, I discovered the beauty and power of yoga, which led me to yoga teacher training. As a mental health counselor and yoga teacher, I believe that health and healing occurs when we give space to connect with our hearts, minds, and bodies.

I studied for my undergraduate degrees at Whitworth University, where I majored in both Spanish and theology. After, I worked at Gonzaga University in the Office of Mission and Ministry while completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Aside from counseling and yoga, I spend time playing with my dogs (Lewis and Lennie), gardening, adventuring in the mountains, reading, weightlifting, running, and cooking/eating with friends.

I look forward to meeting you!

With love and gratitude,

Ali
